
Laser Hair Removal
Pulses of light locate & destroy hairs that are in an active growth stage. Multiple sessions are needed as not all hairs are in an active stage at the time of treatment
There needs to be a good contrast in skin and follicle color for treatment to be successful. Results are best on light skin with dark hair. Not recommended for darker tones as the device targets higher pigments
You should expect perifollicular edema for about a week post laser hair removal, which looks similar to shaving irritation. It also increases sensitivity to heat & light so you'll need to avoid the sun, hot yoga, saunas, hot tubs, etc.
